Smartypants AI helps you find the right product at the right price. Tell it what you're shopping for — in plain words — and it searches live retailers across the US, works out which stores actually carry it, and brings back the smart picks sorted lowest first.

Every price you see is checked against the store's own page before it makes the list. If a store is sold out, or the price on the page doesn't match what was advertised, that listing is dropped — so you don't waste clicks on deals that aren't real.

Behind the scenes, Smartypants combines AI-powered search with live page checks. When you search, it figures out what kind of product you mean, picks the stores that matter for that category — the big names like Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy, plus specialists like Newegg, B&H, Sephora or REI — and then verifies each listing against the store's live page for price, stock and product match.

Prices are refreshed automatically around the clock, and you can hit "refresh prices" on any product page to get the latest numbers on demand. Each listing shows when it was last checked, so you always know how fresh the information is.

We don't invent prices and we don't rank by who pays us. When a store link earns us a commission — and some do, through affiliate programs — it's clearly disclosed, and it never changes which stores we show or what they charge you. When stores pay us nothing, we still list them if they're the best deal.

Smartypants is independent: we show the lowest verified price first, and the choice of where to buy is always yours.
